Halloween Story Contest!

Hey, everyone!

Since no one has started one yet, I thought I'd take the lead and host a Halloween story contest this year. There are always some great stories posted around the holiday, so hopefully this might spark a few ideas.

Similar to my latest contests, I'll keep the parameters vague. While I appreciate some of the creative prompts from other contests, I don't want to restrict anyone for this one. As long as it's Halloween related, go for it! In the interest of getting more stories up on the board, I'll find some time this month to post a new story by the deadline as well, though I'll keep it separate from the contest.

Deadline is November 1st. After that, I'll post the usual survey so we can all vote on our favorite stories to determine the winner. Please start your own thread for each story, and make sure to indicate that it's for the contest - either in the title, or in the thread some time before the story begins. I actually have the story that I was working on last Halloween during the chaos of the site going down. It's roughly 60% done. I'll try to get that one completed and up here soon. I'm actually quite fond of it because it's twisted as hell.

Ten more days to submit a story! I know quarantine kinda kills the excitement of Halloween (amongst other things) this year, but that doesn't mean we can't have some of the quality stories we usually get this season (:
