I do understand why you would predict such, but rest the assured that I am far more spontaneous and imaginative than that! As a matter of fact, I was thinking of some "costumery" reminiscent of the examples below, though who says there must be anything worn underneath, right?Most likely HBB would suggest a change to the wardrobe, going back to the actual clothing provided to Greek boys during training.

(Disclaimer: Much as I love the fourth image, I'm not personally the biggest fan of the gas-mask itself. Also, that specific costume might actually be better for an "enforcer" or "disciplinarian" type character; for example, who might "punish" the loser of any particular combat match! Uh-oh... )
