Opinions on nude teasing within the family

As those who have read my real stories will know, my family had plenty of my mother or other females (and occasionally males too) teasing me and my fellow naked cousins

. I wanted to know your personal experiences with your family teasing you for your nudity, as well as how you like to incorporate it in stories, as a writer and as a reader how you like to read it.(Excluding the standard brother-sister dynamic of one or both seeing the other naked)

This part of my response needs some background: You see, I grew up in the southern U.S.A. during the 1990s, and during those hot/humid summers, it was the most natural thing in the world to observe boys being shirtless outside during hot weather, at the pool, casually around the house, in the gym at school, etc. -- in other words, that was considered the default, natural, and logical state of affairs. Yet along comes my childhood self, whose username might as well have been "ModestClothedBoy" In my boyhood and early/mid, rest assured I was very modest -- not wanting to be shirtless, never mind buck naked, in front of either females OR males! I'd wear a shirt into the swimming pool, and as I got older, I greatly feared the possibility or prospect of things like: being on a "skins" team or having to change/shower in the locker room after gym.

Needless to say, everyone around me (quite vocally) considered this to be unnecessary and silly, or even abnormal or wrong, because in their minds, boyish immodesty was the default, so my modesty was disappointing or even unhealthy, which they frequently made a point of mentioning! Of course, this was real life, not an ENM story, so all anyone ever really did did was try to persuade me out of it -- with arguments, scolding, expressions of disapproval and disappoint, and other such things. Conversely, my own feelings were met with casual (if well intentioned) dismissal and insistences that "boys knowing what boys have," and it was something to be overcome instead of accommodated; granted, not "teasing" as such, and certainly not the worst thing in the world, but it still irked me...

As for "teasing" proper, this one time around age 12-13, I was showering with the door locked, per usual, and after I got out and was drying off -- I saw my younger male cousin, perhaps 6/7 years old, peeking under the door at me and giggling I mean, I'm certain he just wanted mess with me because would get a reaction and make me feel awkward... ...which it did, in fact! For what it's worth, my younger cousin himself was my polar opposite, so brazenly immodest (even into preteen) one might mistake him for an exhibitionist -- except for the fact that he just sincerely didn't give a shit who saw his plump torso, chubby bare butt, and diminutive boy bits bouncing about as he pranced around (in front of both genders) in his birthday suit!

Just for clarity's sake, I might think of it in terms of five categories, roughly speaking...

1. Innocent/Good-Natured: Basically those scenarios where one is casually naive about boyish modesty, benign/kind in emotional tone, often what I call "sweetly dismissive" or similar, wherein I believe my fellow author Mogg particularly excels:

   “Oh, darling… is it still as small as it was when I last saw it a year ago?” she put her arm around Adrian’s shoulders and pulled him close, “My poor boy… don’t be upset, lots of boys are late bloomers like you… there, there, try not to worry…”

2. Amused/Smart-Ass: The aforementioned memory of my cousin peeping on me that time, in fact, may be quite the illustrative example; more generally, where it's at the recipient's expense, but not too terribly malicious (arguably), at least not as much as it could be:

3. Insensitive/Bratty: You are very unkindly taking pleasure in another's misfortune, and you know EXACTLY what you're doing:

   That’s when both boys here girls giggling behind them. "Jamie, that’s disgusting!" Sixteen-year-old Samantha says, as Jamison grabs at his boxers and jeans pulling them up as quickly as he can <-snip-> "Look Jamie’s crying!" Abigail says pointing at her older brother. 4. Mean/Sadistic: Self-explanatory, right?

   The mortified boy clasped his hands over his genitals then, face red with shame as his friends and his loathed stepfather pointed at his endowment. Something in Simon had changed though. He wasn’t about to allow the boy to cover up his embarrassment. "Taylor! Remove your hands now!" The boy looked shocked, his eyes darting to his step dad and back to his friends. 5. Punitive/Control: There may be elements of sadism and/or cruelty, but discipline and obedience are the primary motivation:

   “I caught the little pervert playing with himself.” She pulled from me again and took me to the armchair. She gave me a hard smack on my bare bottom. “Stop playing with yourself, boy!” she barked. “Hands on your head!” I immediately did as she said. I stood there, naked, hands on my head, in front of the two girls. | [13yo boy narrator caught indulging in "private fun" by his babysitter!]

6. Erotic/Sexual: Heightening the emotional tone of arousal and titillation:

   David removed the last item of clothing, Eton’s jock, that he wore under his briefs to help conceal his frequent erections. When David pulled the jock down, he deliberately pulled Eton’s boner down with it, causing it to spring back up and slap against his small patch of wispy pubes. His four-inch circumcised erection was now pointing upward at a forty-five-degree angle. I’ve got a couple of these. The one that sticks with me the most, and which I’ve mentioned in another thread here, went on to loosely inspire an “embarrassing video” scene in my story “Compromising Situation”.

There was a trick my mother used for a time, to keep me in line should I dare to act out when we had guests around. She would threaten to put on “the undies video” - a threat she never followed through with (and honestly probably never would have), but was something that she would occasionally propose if I wasn't on good behaviour. And particularly when we had female guests around my age in the house, almost definitely just to get a reaction out of me.

“The undies video” was a video I'd made at around the age of six or so, with the help of my father and his new home video camera, though my official title for the video was "Josh and the Car Race". It was essentially me acting out a bunch of confusing impromptu scenes using a couple of action figures and car toys, but a majority of the scenes were shot on our living room floor, with me clearly in the background holding said figurines and toys. The problem with this (other than the realism being broken with me in the back of every shot) was that I was clearly quite caught up in the fun of making movie magic, and less caught up in the need to wear anything more than a pair of green briefs.

While I, the director, had intended the audience to be drawn in by Josh's conflict (that of not being able to get his car working before the big car race), the audience's attention would more likely be distracted in almost every shot by my lower half alternately kneeling or crouching in the background, in a pair of underpants.

It might not sound like much, but having the mere existence of “the undies video” being made known to people scared the absolute hell out of me, and when my mother would bring it up, it certainly never failed to bring a warm red hue to my face. And by golly did it work wonders to keep me well behaved!

One other impactful memory that comes to mind involving a bath at a family friend's house. I’ll need to find some time to write it up properly at some point though - I don’t think I can do it justice without taking the time to really paint a clear picture of it.

I can only imagine what if you hadn't even worn your undies while filming that video! Your mother would have had it even easier getting you to comply!

Oh believe me, that video was more than enough to get me to comply! I may have been wearing underpants, but there was enough of a defined shape when crouched in them to strike utter fear into my soul at the very thought of a girl bearing witness to it!

At least, that's how I remember it being at the time. It's been decades now since I've seen it and one does tend to think any embarrassing event is "world ending" at that age. Who knows.

My family practiced CFNM and the adults set example so if the boys were naked the adult males were too regardless of who was around.

One day, my aunt was changing her INFANT daughters diaper as I watched. My aunt saw me and yelled at me asking why I was trying to see her daughter naked and she told me to go into the other room. My sisters were there with several of their girlfriends and they all heard it and as I was standing there naked, a girl around 10 laughed and said we can all see YOU NAKED but you can not even see a BABY girl naked.
