WOW - somehow I totally missed the continuation of this great story. But now I caught up and I really enjoyed it. Thank you so much for this amazing first arc! I really love your stories and I'm very happy that with the "END OF ARC ONE" a second arc has been implied. And I'm really looking forward to a continuation.

Eventually, yes!

I'm sorry, but I don't think I can even offer a vague timeline at this point. As I mentioned on a recent post somewhere, I'm currently making an active effort to conclude my still ongoing stories now that I'm establishing myself as an official writer with a website and everything. All of you deserve some closure on a few of my long-term works before I start yet another 'Part One.' And, while ending an arc isn't technically ending the story, it's more of a conclusion than some of my other stories have at the moment. Long story short, anything already started is going to be what takes priority for a little while.

I try not to mention my Patreon too much on this board, but there IS an option to compel my writing focus over there. If anybody really wants to push me back to a shelved story like this one, it can be done. :P

You really are a good writer which is why I am sure it's frustrating for so many of your fans that you are divided between so many stories, but I think it's just as frustrating that it's hard to simply find all your stories. I was on both your website and your patreon but I would have missed this story, which I think is probably my favorite of everything you have written that I am aware of, if I had not accidentally found it here.

This story actually IS on my list to transfer over to www.mistressabigailwrites.com at some point. Some other older works, too. The problem is, Squarespace and Patreon both would have issues with content like this in terms of the characters being under the age of eighteen. I have a whole soapbox about how western culture has this really dumb "OMG, UNDERAGE, SHUT IT DOWN" mentality that's starting to take over the rest of the world--the internet especially--when the majority of developed countries have a variety of different rules about such things. Drinking, gambling, mature content, consent, etc. Long story short, a handful of my stories only work on forums like this that can be more flexible about the 15-17 range or so.

And it's not as simple as changing 'sophomore' to 'senior,' because any stories that take place in a high school setting require a little more finesse than that. Scattering plenty of 'eighteen years old' references throughout the work, for example, but in a way that isn't obnoxious. And being clear that background characters are legal as well. Since this story wouldn't make much sense in a college setting, I'll have to edit it with said adjustments before I can post it on my website!

It's funny because I kind of have a mixed response. Yes, the age of consent is not the same everywhere, but also I do find some of your stories either I cannot read because you are using ages so young that I find it off-putting or I have to make surgical edits for my own peace of mind. For example, I think it's in your story the Teaching Assistant where the TA is mistaken for a student and in it I do not like how low the age/grade is she is mistaken for so I edit it to be 18/year 12 for my own reading.

It's actually part of why you are such a good writer so don't take what I am about to say too harshly, but you seem a little bit too concerned with making sure that things are realistic. There is a reason why the genre is called fantasy. It doesn't have to make perfect sense. Frankly, I think it would be better to just write the characters as generally older. I likewise grew up with 16 being more like the age of adulthood than the now modern 18-21 that seems to be exported to the globe by America so I get how it seems absurd to treat relationships with 17 year olds as pedophilia, but I also do not like seeing ages like 13-15 in erotica. So, just as an example, I would much rather see a story with a 17 year old getting babysat than a 12 year old even if the later makes more sense in real life.

And then in addition, just pragmatically you won't have as many problems with Patreon or whatever.

Unrelated, is there any more to this story? Or alternatively do you have a complete archive of all your stories on this forum somewhere?
