Hello and Welcome to the Summer Slam Phase 2 Voting!

First, Lady Lucia and Revenged Pirate will automatically advance to Phase 3 as neither of their competitors turned in an entry.

As for the others, you will vote for the complete story. Each pairing will have an individual poll.

If Summer Slam - EdithDick has more votes than Summer Slam - Executionus, then Executionus will win and move on, etc.

It'll be interesting to see how this finally continues. It's felt like so long since we started it. I do wonder how exactly we're going to move forward with 5 contestants in any form of tournament style though. We may have to toss the finalists into a battle royale situation.

I think that's a very good idea and I'm surprised no one's thought to do it before. Too often in these votes, one story will gain a small lead and/or get a couple of supporting comments for it in the thread and suddenly almost all the remaining votes go to that story. That's not to say it doesn't deserve the win or that it wouldn't have (maybe) received all those remaining votes anyway, but it's good to remove that potential influencing factor.
