I attended a small primary school boys and girls all had to get changed together in the same class room.
It was always a bit annoying because the majority of girls wore skirts or dresses so they didn't have to expose their underwear obviously boys didn't have that option.

Although what was worse ...

If you forgot your PE kit, you would have to do the lesson in your underwear and vest or T-shirt if you didn't have a vest i'm sure you can imagine that's very embarrassing for an 11-year-old boy or girl being forced to do a PE lesson without anything to cover their underwear

Two mabey three times It happened to me in year 6 probably around once a month a student forgot there PE kit if you were not wearing a vest you were allowed to keep your school polo shirt on so no one was ever running around only in there underwear.

I didn't switch from briefs to boxers full-time until I was almost 30, and even now I still wear them to bed for the support.

It was the same at my primary school and secondary school you would have to do the PE lesson in your shirt and underwear if you forgot your PE kit... I really don't know why. What's the worst thing that could happen taking part in a PE lesson with school trousers on.

Yes, it was in one of those early lessons when we wore just undies for PE, so I was five or six. Even at that age it was quite embarrassing, but if it had happened when I was older, my God it would have been awful ...
