First Time Seeing the Opposite Gender's "Business"

A pretty funny story from when I was little. I was in 2nd grade when this happened. During PE, I was sat behind a girl who was wearing loose athletic shorts. Teacher tells us to get on our bellies to do push ups. I look forward and realize I can see right up her shorts. I couldn't see much but I knew when we actually got to the push-ups I'd be seeing her undies. Or so I thought. When the teacher told us to go up, the girl's shorts sagged down. This is when I learned she waa going commando, and I got the clearest view of her privates. I was shocked. I looked down to avoid ogling her bits, but the teacher called me out, telling me to keep my face forward. So there I was, having a staring contest with this poor girl's privates. Other than my mom, this was the first time I had ever seen a girls pussy in person. I was embarrassed over it and never told the girl what happened.

It must've been fascinating to get such a clear look at her "business". My 2nd grade self would've been very interested to get the same kind of view. It's also funny that your teacher unknowingly forced you to continue looking.
At the same time, I could understand feeling embarrassed in your position. Did you feel guilty over it, as if you were choosing to continue looking at something you shouldn't?
How do you think that girl might have responded if you had told her?

It was pretty shocking, to be honest. I had seen my mom nude plenty up to that point, but she had a bush and I had only ever seen her from the front. Seeing up between that girl's legs was a whole new experience. After looking at it for a few seconds the shock subsided and I wound up more or less inspecting it out of curiosity. I didn't feel guilty but I did feel second hand embarrassment for her.
If I had told her I 100% would have gotten in trouble, which is why I didn't. Several years later I did catch a glimps of a friends labia due to how she was sitting and when I told her she just said "You're welcome, I guess"

How old was your friend when she said that? Quite a relaxed response. Maybe she was being playful
