I have memories of two incidents where my mom pressured me to take off my swimming trunks, I was 10 or maybe even 11 when this happened.

So, the first time was when me and my sister (2 years younger) were out in our backyard, swimming in an above-ground pool we had at the time. After having gotten out, my mom told me to take off my swimming trunks to dry off completely. I refused, but she insisted, saying "No one will see you here", and I did it.

Now, the second time, we were out on a pier of sorts. Only me, my sister, mom, and one of our mom's childhood friends and her son. My mom's childhood friend almost had an aunt-like relationship to us. Anyway, my mom made me take off my clothes out in the open, she didn't hand me any towel or anything. I remember feeling kinda bashful about it, reluctantly undressing in front of her friend. And I remember her looking at my boy bits for the short while I was stark naked. Her son was a bit more shy, grabbing a towel and going off a bit to the side.

I can't remember my mom ever doing this to my sister, but then again, I remember her being way less shy than I was. It's likely she just took off her bikini whenever suitable, in the first incident she may have even reclined stark naked in one of the garden chairs while it happened.

Don't know when this happened, but the rules were different for guys back in the day.

Moms have a way of embarrassing their sons. They wouldn't do the same to their daughters. Stories abound of moms embarrassing their male children. I think they like to do it.

I have to agree with you, my personal experience is much the same. I've been stripped naked countless times in public by my mother over the years as I grew up

There used to be a video on YouTube of a boy losing his trunks on a Waverider. Mom is recording, and as his entire butt is exposed she squeals with delight

I got the whole thing on video!!

I spoke with a friend who has boys and girls- all grown now. She agreed, 100%. It's funny when boys get exposed...she has stories and photos of both her sons.

Her daughters? Don't be creeoy.

Yeah, she might have. Or maybe she just didn't understand why I might have been a bit more modest than my sister.

Till what age does this double standard apply before boys finally start getting treated as adults I wonder?

Like till what age was your friend filming her boys being exposed nude?

And in my experience this is when it flips kinda, once girls hit puberty mom's get more to comment on, talk about (to others) and look at girl's bodies

Once guys actually could do something with our equipment, it stopped being so funny...
