Chapter One. The Wonderful Month of May


As the month of May got started, the Eighth-Grade boys of Northside Middle School looked forward to a number of things. One, the drudgery

Chapter 2 of "Exposing Eric"

After several months of investigation, the gathering of evidence (mostly eyewitness accounts of bribed members of the various PE classes)
the suspect list centers on five candidates. The names are:

semi-circle around a small raised stage set up in the auditorium. The school offered the space, and they wanted students to learn something
about traditional Indian culture.

All the Indian women and girls are dressed in colorful wrappings from head to toe. The clothes on the guys much plainer, and some of the
men took their shirts off. A teacher announces to the students they are about to witness the Sacred Thread Ceremony.

When Niraj was brough out onto the stage his appearance immediately got the American students all stirred up. The only thing Niraj had on was
a tiny yellow loincloth, so small as to have the appearance of a thong. Niraj looks nervous as he looks at the row upon row of giggling girls and
stunned into silence boys. All the Indian adults were smiling and congratulating each other and members of Niraj's family. Everyone comments

Niraj is finally getting his Ceremony due to family not being able to travel during the covid lockdown year. The mom said her older son is
wearing the same ceremonial outfit his younger brother wore. It was most noticeable the yellow loincloth was designed to fit a boy of
ten, but was much too small for the older and larger thirteen year old Niraj. At times Niraj's balls were practically slipping out the sides when
he moved or got up and down from a seated position. Either the family didn't consider this unusual, or figured there's no immediate way
to solve the problem.

A dinner ritual followed, which the American students found incomprehensible. The ceremony concluded and a fresh round of congratulations

The proud papa carries the young teenager around the stage showing him off to everybody, not noticing the jostling of the loincloth made it
