How do people feel about dick flashing?

Intentional? Meh. Doesn't do anything for me.
Unintentional? Hecks yes.

For me, It's all about the flasher's reaction to what they have unintentionally shown, and having to deal with whatever reaction the flashee has had.

Seems to me that there several kinds of dick flashes, and it might be worth distinguishing between them. (I'm thinking mainly of different kinds of intentional dick flashes, although CaughtOfLore's distinction between intentional and unintentional flashes is a good one.)

The first kind I'm thinking of is dick flashing with simple sexual intent. That is, a guy flashing his dick in the hopes that it'll help him "get some" in one form or another. Examples of this include the guys you apparently saw on Chatroulette way back when. (There may be a further distinction to draw between those who hope the flashee will reciprocate, as opposed to those who are exhibitionists, content simply with exposing themselves.)

The second kind is dick flashing purely for humor's sake. If we can see past the attached sexual connotations, dicks are just kind of funny, aren't they? In the right type of situation, a guy can whip it out in a way that just registers as humorous. I think this type of dick flash is comparatively rarer, but I have seen the occasional picture or video that seems to exemplify it. And I haven't often searched for them.

So, NudeBaG, are you thinking of one particular type of dick flashing, or just of the wholly general phenomenon of a guy exposing his dick? Personally, I have somewhat different thoughts on the two types that I've outlined.

I think it differs alot in terms of context, but as a whole, I don't find it that tasteful.

CinnabarSunset explains my thoughts pretty well already.

A guy doing it for attention? Just screams arrogance and ego in my opinion.

Accidental flashing or exhibitionism? Love it, reminds me of a memory I had in summer camp where a friend of mine had his underwear and swim shorts stolen in the shower. He needed to walk back to our cabin with a towel around his waist, something that one of us easily pulled which revealed everything to the cabin of girls next door.

Years later he told me that the experience was the primary awakening of his exhibitionist kink.

I wrote a story where a young guy pretended to have an unintentional exposure. Sort of a passive version of being a Flasher.
Of course the guy in my story didn't get away with it and was forced into more exposure than he ever intended.

How often does a young woman wear something that "accidentally" flashes her boobs, or wears too short of a skirt. All kinds of ways a person
can flash other people.

What is it called when someone invites people over to stay overnight, then sleeps naked with the covers down and the door to the bedroom is
open? Being an exhibitionist while making it looks accidental, how often is that seen here in a story?
