I'm looking for a story

Basically I was trying to start writing a long story and I failed so I'm looking for a universe that I can write a short story in or a series of short stories.

There was a story a few years back, I think on IO's site, it was set in a town, where I think they made casino chips so all bets became legal and the town's name became bet town or something like that, there was actually a sequel close enough to the original story.

I'm looking for the original story for two reasons, I can use the town as an inspiration/back story and the second reason is that hopefully some of you talented people can do the same.


A few more details about the original story, a girl was lucky rather than good (but she used to always beat her classmates) and pissed off a professional gambler who managed (without cheating) to raise a bet enough that she bet all her clothes, so after walking home naked, the pro gambler turned up with a van and emptied her wardrobe.


The sequel involved her working in a failing resturant and she got her co workers to agree to a system if the food was late out they lost an item, the resturant ended up having its best ever day.
