Re: Magic (New 4-5-2025)
Legitimately,
I hope to have Chapter 40 out yet tonight.
Working within the rules of the world I’ve built, I’ve tried to craft a chapter that works, without breaking any of those established ‘rules’…
This has been my most challenging chapter yet

Okay, I’m already pretty far in at this point, but…
Julie…
Do you prefer mean?
Or naive?

Why not both? Mean in her naivety? Because she is curious, she doesn't care for James' feelings in the moment? She just wants to satisfy whatever idea is on her mind and as such, causes trouble and or embarrassment for James?

Re: Magic (New 4-5-2025)
I'm VERY biased if you can't tell from my own stories, but I like a great mix of both! She's his younger sister and is having a lot of fun at his expense while he's going through a very humiliating time. I imagine plenty of little sisters would love such an opportunity, and would relish the 'power' them having clothes while he doesn't would give them. I'm sure seeing him being taken down a peg or two as he's humiliated would be fun for her too - a bit of a sibling rivalry and all that.NudeBaG wrote: Tue Apr 08, 2025 11:31 pm Okay, I’m already pretty far in at this point, but…

BUT. I guess for me, there's a difference between being mean, and being a BRAT. Julie can absolutely be a brat, and feel all of those kinds of ways mentioned above, and maybe even feel like James deserves it for being mean to her in the past - but still fundamentally be a good younger sister that loves her big brother, you know?
My siblings and I got into fights CONSTANTLY, and seeing them get what I felt like they deserved was the best feeling in the world. Vice versa. But I'd never say we were *mean* to each-other. Siblings, you know?

I’m not a fan of straight up cruelty, and find most ‘mean’ characters to be one dimensional and boring.
As a GOOD example, look at BareB4U’s character of Mia in “Sharing A Changing Cubicle” (a favorite of mine
She can be mean, but also be more than just a bully.
Again though, I’m not a fan of straight up cruelty OR SPH.
So any derision James receives will be in a teasing fashion, and not meant as overt cruelty.
Look at the relationship between our main characters, brother and sister Emily and Mark.
I just wanted to know the preferred direction of Julie’s character, as I’m thoroughly enjoying writing her
