What a treat it was to read the latest bumper set of updates. I was really missing this story so to get both parts of an extended chapter felt like an incredible gift for us readers.

I loved the girls reminding Mark of the Halloween party, that was definitely one of my favourite parts of this whole tale. That's when it felt like things really kicked into a high gear so I enjoyed the nostalgia of them talking about how much fun they had and how embarrassing it was for poor Mark of course

I like how for Mark it's possibly more embarrassing that he's now always flaccid at school, who would have thought he'd miss being hard all the time

Can't wait for more Mark and Sam together. I like Christine a lot too but maybe I'm in the minority of hoping he gets with Sam, I like the harder more sarcastic edge she has. She's a very fun character.

James next is it? Cannot wait!

So, there may be a bit of a delay.
In the middle of writing this first James chapter, I realize that I need to pay close attention to the continuity here.

Between picking up after Mark’s pep talk and when James actually starts school, I need to address the events that took place in the drug store with Julie, Ms Skinner and our main cast.

I’m really glad I caught this, because it would have required a retraction of one or more planned chapters

I apologize in advance while I rework the current chapter

I’m working on it currently, and will be for the rest of the day.
I just need to keep track of where I’m at.
I’d written an entire section that I have to now save for later, because it didn’t fit with events established in earlier chapters.
One of the draw backs of shifting perspectives to a new character
It really wouldn’t have made sense.
I need to cover and fill at least 2 full days leading up to James’ actual first day of school.

Keeping James flaccid is hard

I mean, humiliation makes most boys stay pretty soft! IRL unless you're really adding a big dose of sexuality, touch etc, most guys would probably stay soft. Especially for a little guy that's particularly body shy and around his sister. I feel like it generally makes sense, until he gets to school and the adrenaline and sea of giggling faces takes things in a different direction

Julie may inadvertently get a reaction out of James, but once he gets involved with Emily, Tanya and Christine (3 girls who KNOW what they’re doing at this point) all bets are off.
