Yes, there is a bit of a ‘power struggle’ or ‘witchy rivalry’ between Emily and Christine.

As a hint to what the possible ‘side effect’ of the magic may be having on the girls, I’ll say this:

Our 3 main girls are only 13 years old.
They have stumbled upon a book which has taught them magical practices seemingly SPECIFICALLY TIED to the carnal.
Now, Add in the hormones of puberty.

As to the relationship stuff:

In an earlier chapter, Emily tells Mark to be careful with Christine.
Since writing that chapter though, I’ve come to deeply care about Christine .
Sam too
Character relationships are an integral part of writing, so I’m just kinda playing around with that aspect.
It may fizzle out before it even starts though.

So, reading back through the drug store encounter with the Sacral Feeder, I feel like I may have been too vague about what triggered it.
After all, Mark had the sealing ring on, and it wasn’t THAT embarrassing of a situation for him, right?
These were all girls and a woman he’d been naked in front of before, and it was just a quick shopping trip.

I’ll point out this excerpt:

I try and put myself in the characters’ positions as much as possible when writing.
Having written them, I obviously SHOULD know how they each think and react.
The girls having to submit to what MARK wants is uncharted territory, for sure.
And the relationship dynamics are definitely in play.
While it may not have been put to page as of yet, Mark has CERTAINTY fantasized about our 3 main girls plenty, so…

I am curious how pervy Mark could be. Also the thought Sam and Carly exposed to Mark kinda turned me on. I would love to see the girls teasing Mark even though they are submitting to him for the night.
