Agreed, thank you all. I'm all for suggestions to make it somewhat more realistic (For example, reminding me that someone wouldn't always willingly participate in these humiliations has strengthened the story, I think. It's for these reasons that I've introduced the medications that make Seth more willing... it was going to be this or additional blackmail, and 'magical sex-enhancing medications' felt more creative for this story), but the ending is already planned and won't be changing drastically. I have also reiterated a number of times that I plan for the story to be relatively upbeat throughout, despite scenarios becoming increasingly humiliating and that it could be dark if you really think about what is occurring. However, I write in a similar style to many on this site which requires a high suspension of disbelief, which Lefanto described excellently as a key part of many of these stories. Still, I do respect that this style is not for everyone, and there might be darker and more realistic stories out there (that include death, or a humiliating character getting violent revenge on someone for example). It's just not what I personally write, or even how I think when I'm writing.Lefanto wrote: Mon Dec 11, 2023 12:06 am So a high degree of suspension of disbelief is required anyway for the present story and many other "non-vanilla" sex stories.
I do think that part of it is my willingness for suggestions, as well as a welcoming of ongoing commentary/engagement with readers. This is honestly the longest I've ever written a story, and I think that is because of the amazing feedback I am getting and encouragement to continue/watching people's theories about what is coming up! But... I have reiterated a number of times that it won't go that way. So while it does keep coming up in comments, readers can rest assured that it is not doing anything to change the outcome of the story.
