Boys PE showers - sometimes girls get a peek

So this happened because someone flung open the fire door? Was she standing there already for some reason or did she come to the door to see what was going on?

Yep. Like I said at the start of the thread, it was a common prank. Most of the time it happened to someone else and/or there was no one in the hall to see. I got unlucky on this occasion.

I don't know why Mrs J was there, but she definitely stepped closer and stood practically in the shower room, talking to the boys.

How did it feel having her look you over that way? Did your being afraid of her contribute to feeling like you had to just stand there and not cover yourself? And since you mentioned a shower, were you wet or dry?

Demeaning is the main word I'd use, a violation of my privacy and like my defences and dignity had been stripped away. Partly my brain had shorted out in shock, but I'm sure my nervousness of Mrs J contributed to me not covering up. I was certainly too scared to call her out for deliberately looking, when she could've avoided it and she was obviously looking me up and down. I felt like I'd been caught doing something I shouldn't (which was nonsense of course), but I wasn't in trouble with her YET, and I wanted to keep it that way.

And yes, I was under the shower so I was dripping wet (At least it was a WARM shower, I suppose! )

So simple, yet so embarrassing! That's not the only time a girl had seen your pants and commited it to memory Did it happen any other times?
I can just picture the scene and know how much that line about her seeing my pants would make me squirm too!

Well remembered. Yes, my friend's sister did that to me too. Those weren't the only times a girl caught me in my pants, but they were the only times I remember them commenting to me about those pants afterwards!

I was on the track team during my junior & senior years of high school. In season, we were required to run for an hour 5 days a week after school hours. At about 4:30, we'd complete our run, and the coach required us to take showers afterwards. He didn't want us to go home all sweaty from the run. Back then coaches could mandate showers for their teams.

We all got used to the naked gang showers in the locker room. Seeing your teammates naked every school day loses its awkwardness after a while. Problem was that the coach's wife was an English teacher at the same school. She would occasionally enter his office at that hour waiting for him to finish up so they could go home together.

Coach's office had a glass side view into the locker room. Most of us would return to our lockers with a towel wrapped around us post-shower. However, the coach's wife (my junior year English teacher) could easily have looked over and saw me or my teammates drop our towels as we proceeded to get dressed. Maybe she looked, maybe she didn't? I was never quite sure that year if my English teacher had gotten a glimpse of me either naked at my locker or else in my underpants as I dressed.
