After working in Photoshop to create the picture for Pro Wrestler (and Waitress the other day), it occurs to me that I should make a basic announcement letting everyone else know that I am fairly skilled at doing that sort of thing. If you're having difficulty finding the exact picture to match your mental image, I can usually make some basic adjustments (such as colors and textures). I edited several of the pics for the original Thirst Games for that reason.

I’ve read some of the contest synopsis and like what I’m reading. It also provoked the thought that you could quite easily fashion this into a giant D and D game as it has all the factors.

Every author tells you his or her character moves around the map. No author would know where any other character is. The match ups would be totally author driven, and random. Each battle that takes place could involve a multitude of authors at once. Also each character would have unique traits and skills, which means even the outcomes would be random.

I know it’d probably be a nightmare to organise a D and D enf story but it looks like you’ve done the ground work for this kind of setup

An unbelievable nightmare. The idea of waiting for feedback on this forum is a non-starter, because it could take weeks or months for me to hear back from a particular author. The whole event would pause waiting on that one response.

In reality the system I'm using to run these events is a homebrew D&D-like roleplay system that I've used with friends for decades. I'm just using my AI system to auto-pilot the characters instead of needing player input. I've done that sort of thing many, many times before. My largest fantasy non-porn contest was over 500 characters created by like a dozen friends (and it took probably half a year to complete). Most of that was done via auto-pilot, which for me is very fun to operate because it's comparable to actually watching the event myself as I create it.

Alrighty, so I've had my tenth submission now (for 11 total characters including Cop) and I figured I should list up some basic information for people wondering what type of niches still needed filling in the match, to inspire their own characters.

Strong Characters (overpower enemies)
Pro Wrestler
Cop
Landscaper
Teacher (Surprisingly)

Athletes (won't get tired easily)
Pro Wrestler
Boxer
Horse Jockey
Most of the others have good overall stamina, but not on the level of those three

Skilled (Uses a legit fighting style)
Pro Wrestler
Boxer
Cop
Video Blogger
Horse Jockey (somewhat)

Sneaky (Uses ambushes, deception, dirty tactics, or a complex strategy)
Author
Photographer
Stylist
Most characters not named Pro Wrestler have at-least some sneakiness, but those three are the queens so far

Charismatic (Wanting to "play the game", make allies, trick people, scare people, or just go with the flow)
Video Blogger
Waitress
Teacher
Landscaper

So overall we've had a good spread of combat styles. We probably don't need any more elite combat athletes like Pro Wrestler and Boxer, but there is room for more strong characters (like Construction Worker or something) as most of the ladies are pretty small. There is room for more athletes for sure. We could definitely use more outside-the-box tactics for variety, as really only Author and Photographer have truly bonkers and unique plans on how to win. If you have an idea that only a madwoman would ever attempt for real, I will do my best to make it work out in the story simply because I love that sort of nonsense.

I've been enjoying how far most of the characters go into their gimmicks btw. I was very worried about being sent generic characters when I started this, but that has NOT been a problem. I guess this is one of the benefits of asking a bunch of writers for submissions!

To quote from the original story

"....JROTC was very embarrassed, and simply answered "Sir, no sir"

The instructor pointed a finger and said "You get to lap the school 5 times now as punishment for making us look like prideful idiots. You had better hope and pray that when that Wellington kid hosts another of these things that he allows you the chance to redeem yourself. There is no reason that you should have EVER lost that match. Next time, you'd better go out there like it's a real war, not just some game. You'd better win, or at least put up a better goddamn fight, or else you're coming home to a sock party...and I don't mean dress up day, missie, you read me? Now start running!...."

Any chance of that happening??

Former lurker here wanting to start posting stories and contributing! How do we enter a contestant without being able to send PMs? Delete if not allowed. Thanks!

Ha, excellent! You caught an Easter Egg teaser for this match from my epilogues, but you actually missed the following paragraph from JROTC's story:

The Thirst Games wrote: When she got home, the first thing she did was call Benedict and offer her services for the next Thirst Games. Benedict turned her down, however, saying that (aside from the champion) there would be no real point to having repeat contestants in that event. He did offer JROTC something else, however: With LARPer pissed off at him, he was going to need a new super-scary enforcer for the future contest. JROTC was offered the role of special enforcer, which she accepted. This would be a way to redeem herself before she enlisted in the armed forces after graduating.

While I was not going to announce it here originally, the entrant formerly known as JROTC is going to be returning as the very first Security Guard who gets dispatched in Thirst Games 2. She's coming out hard with a chip on her shoulder, so I really wouldn't want to be the girl who gets security called on her first.

***On the other subject, I'm going to try sending messages to new members who post here. If I'm not mistaken, you guys can probably reply to those in order to message me. Even if that doesn't work, it does seem like the lockout for sending PMs doesn't last too long because several others have managed to send me PMs shortly after posting here that they couldn't. Considering that I'm still accepting characters until after Santa basketballs millions of gifts down chimneys, there's no real rush this early. Also at the rate I've been getting entrants, this match is going to be huge. My goal was 20, but I'm already sitting on 11 (13 counting you two). I still haven't gotten any submissions from several of the main members of this forum, such as Hooked6, SDS, RevengedPirate, dublinjohn who just posted here, and many more. This match is going to be fun, that's for sure.

I'll be honest, this is my busy time of the year, I'm going to get well over a third of my annual income in the next 8 weeks, I won't be giving you a character.
