The wrestlers I remember were Brett the hitman hart Owen hart the hulk the undertaker

mr invincible or incredible or something like that had colourful streamers.

Obviously there were more but that was kind of my era of watching it. I think Brett or Owen had a really bad accident doing a stunt involving a high wire I think it killed one of them I’m not sure.

You never really got the truth because of all the hype and propaganda promoting the sport.

On film though my favourite “fake” wrestler had to be clubber Lang. Loved him.

No we got the truth of that one immediately, and I still remember that. It was Owen Hart and he was doing a superhero character at the time, so the plan was for him to make his ring entrance by diving down from the high rafters suspended by a bungie cord (something Sting was doing all the time at this point in WCW). The trick they wanted to do to be unique was to have Owen activate a special release mechanism that would let him go once he had been safely lowered enough. Unfortunately when they did the stunt Owen's weight somehow set off the trick release immediately and he fell to his death in front of a live studio audience. Many stunt performers have always criticized the concept of using a trick release on a harness of that nature, saying that the stunt never should've been approved in the first place. Still to this day, no wrestling company will do any stunts anymore involving wire harnesses from high places. This is not the first time that somebody has been seriously hurt or even killed in a wrestling event as these moves and stunts are extremely dangerous, but this moment was very high profile and aired live on PPV.

A couple years later Bret also had a very bad accident in the ring in a match with Goldberg, ending his career, and then he had an even worse accident with a motorcycle which is why he can barely walk now.

My favorite wrestler of all time is Undertaker, without question. Other favorites include Stone Cold, Kane, Ultimate Warrior, Mr Perfect, Edge, Big Show, Macho Man, Eddie Guerrero, Bray Wyatt, and Brock Lesnar.

Ultimate warrior and mr perfect their the two I must’ve put their names together. But i remember ultimate warrior because his costume was so flamboyant but back then they all wore flamboyant costumes. I remember stone cold Steve Austin too he was bald headed and wore black. I never understood wrestling guess that’s why I never really got into it.

Well we have about 24 hours left in the voting as of this post. Right now Bully has a decent lead with a total of 11 out of the 24 total votes (almost half), although that could change in the last minutes.

I'm still surprised that voter turnout was as low as it was, considering this is only about 4% of the registered members on this forum. This definitely paints the picture that it would be foolish for me to attempt a future Thirst Games sequel using the plan I mentioned before of using only user-submitted characters, because I'd be lucky to get a whole dozen contestants (unless I let people submit multiples).

So of course we're tied again going into the last 6 hours of voting. At this point the next vote probably wins it, so one of you guys could single-handedly decide the fates of these two girls.
