I was 15 yes girls did see. I was wearing pants he pulled my shorts and pants came down too

I imagine it would have been bad enough just being pantsed and people seeing you still wear pants/briefs at 15? But it happened in front of GIRLS and your pants came down too!!

Did you wear pants all the way through school? If so, I imagine it was quite unusual and embarrassing? It was for me, and that was about ten years before you!
I didn’t try boxers til I was 16, so by year 11 there was just me and maybe five other guys still wearing them.

Yeah It would have been embarrassing enough if it was just my shorts that were pulled down and all the girls saw my pants, Slightly less embarrass if I was wearing boxers but the fact my underwear came down as well it so humiliating, especially as I'm a grower not a shower

The same person pantsed me in the changing rooms whilst I had my back turned he pulled my pe shorts down to my feet he started laughing and shouting look everyone he's wearing pants, something like that trying to make fun of me but I didn't give him the satisfaction of letting him think he's embarrassing me I turned around still with my shorts around my ankles and told him Yeah I do they're comfortable are you enjoying the view which my classmates found amusing and he walked off in a mood.
That was in the boys changing room If that happened in front of girls I would have pulled my shorts up straight away.

So I have an older brother of almost 2 years when he got to around 10 years old he switched to boxer shorts I stayed with pants the main reason was it made washing easier for my mum so she wasn't getting our underwear mixed up.
When I was 14 my mum did buy me a pair of boxer shorts but they were not from a multi-pack she brought them individually they were distinguishably different for my brothers multipack boxers so there was no chance of them getting mixed up.
So I did own a handful of boxer shorts from the age of 14 but pants were always my main choice of underwear.

How come you didn't try boxers until you were 16 ?

Yeah not many boys still wore pants when I was in year 11

I didn't switch from briefs to boxers full-time until I was almost 30, and even now I still wear them to bed for the support.

There are many exotic briefs designed according to the male anatomy. I like to walk around with sexy underwear. It's nice to feel it even if no one sees it. It's a different feeling. But would I want to be seen like that? I don't know.

I didn't try boxers until I was 18/19 and I absolutely hated them I know they look cooler but so uncomfortable all the material around my leg bunching up pants/briefs definitely the best choice of underwear

Wow, that's amazing you were able to stay cool in that situation and think up such a witty retort! I'm very impressed. I would have just melted into abject humiliation
If in doubt, it seems that suggesting a bully is 'gay' usually does the trick at making them shut up

Well, the reason I didn't try boxers 'til I was 16 is simple: I was far too shy/embarrassed to talk about my underwear to ANYONE, including my mum. The thought of discussing my pants with her and asking to try boxers was just too much for me, so it was weirdly preferable to say nothing and carry on with wearing pants and getting teased than have that unbearable conversation. It's funny how my mind worked back then

Yes they did make fun of me for not really showing it's not like I'm walking around with a constant erection lol
I wasn't the only person at school to get there pe shorts or underwear pulled down but when it happened to me it was definitely one of the worst.

I was never really that self conscious about being seen wearing pants around other guys I was definitely more embarrassed about girls seeing my underwear pants or boxers although boxers were definitely the cooler choice. If anything, I didn't really mind that I had mostly pants and my older brother got boxers at least then our underwear never got mixed up only the rest of our clothes
The only thing that annoyed when I wore pants was everybody else making such an ordeal about my underwear.

My conversation with my mom was very short, we were at the store, I picked up a pack of boxers, she said, "that's not what you normally wear", I said, "I know" and threw them in the cart. Probably the shortest conversation we've ever had.
For my son, I've tried to make it easier, I buy him a few of each kind and let him decide what he wants on any given day, no need to ask. I know how much I kind of dressed the conversation and I still don't know what I'd have said if my mother pushed past my acknowledging that I knew I was getting something different, and I am going to be the one to break that intergenerational trauma.

Until I earned my own money (but only in college), my mother always bought my underwear. As you can imagine, it was always briefs. Never boxers. Only fathers could wear those. But what really embarrassed me was that whenever I went to buy jeans with my mother or even my father, the curtains in the changing room would always be half-open while I was changing. Not having complete privacy created a sense of inferiority in addition to wearing white briefs.
