Part Sixty-Four

"Oh, it's perfectly OK officer. He lives here" I heard Lexie reply confidently. "That's as maybe" the policewoman replied. "But perhaps that's not my only question !"

I had to admit that Lexie played a blinder. She was at an age where she possessed that strange mix of mischievous precocity with childlike innocence but she was sensible enough to know what was required of her in a situation such as this. She explained my nudity as being the result of the door slamming shut on me when I had sneaked out to put something in the bin. She explained her involvement by saying she was in the garden doing some chores when it happened. She managed to convince the policewoman that I was a close friend of the family and that it was by no means unusual for her to see me naked, since she was allowed to attend Sky's art class where I was the life model. Fortunately, she was circumspect enough not to mention all the other circumstances in which I had been naked with her. Lexie explained that her mother was out with friends but the policewoman was welcome to phone her for confirmation of Lexie's story, which the policewoman did. Everyone had a good laugh at my stupidity. Which was OK, better to be thought stupid than anything more serious.

"Everything's fine Wendy, it's just the home owner trying to get back in after being locked out." The policewoman was on the radio to her colleague. "Righto, but why's he out there stark bollock naked ?" came the reply, which I suddenly heard in stereo since the other policewoman walked into the kitchen that I had been trying to enter and stood in front of me as I hung half in and out of the window ! "How did you get in ?" I asked her. The first policewoman, whose name I later discovered was Sue, explained how I had supposedly got locked out while going to the bin. Her colleague joined in the laughter and answered the question I had posed. "Your front door was open, you should have just given it a push, you weren't locked out at all" Wendy laughed. The door had been open all this time. The latch must not have caught properly when Caz slammed it.

I felt two strong hands on my hips. "Come on, I'll help you down" said Sue. I instinctively clamped my hands over my groin once I was back down on the ground. Sue grinned. We scurried around the side of the house and in the front door. I hoped the presence of the police car had not prompted all the neighbours to look out of their windows. "We just need a few more details sir" said Sue. "And you'd better check nothing's missing since the front door was open all the time you two were messing about round the back" she added. The thought had crossed my mind when I first realised the house had been unlocked much longer than the police were aware of but an initial cursory glance seemed to suggest all was well. "I'd better just put some clothes on first" I suggested. "It's a bit late for that isn't it ?" Sue grinned. "And apparently your little friend here is quite used to seeing you like this ?" she said, indicating Lexie who had followed us in.

Sue quickly repeated Lexie and Alison's explanation to her colleague about why my nudity in front of Lexie was not a problem. Initially Wendy was less sanguine about the situation. "Perhaps we should still take him down to the station for an official interview and statement ?" she suggested. "Come on Wendy, we're off duty in twenty minutes. Do you want to have to stay on filling in all sorts of forms and report for something as silly as this ?" Sue pointed out. "Good point" Wendy agreed.

So it was that I remained still stark naked in my own kitchen but with a thankfully flaccid penis, while Sue took a few more details. She wanted to know the location and timings of Sky's art class and was disappointed when Lexie told her that it was on a break. But when Lexie said there would be a new term in the autumn and I would still be posing, Sue said she might come along if her shifts permitted. As the two policewomen were finally leaving, Sue stopped and turned to me. "I've got all your details. Here's my number !" she said, giving me a wink and slipping me a note. "Look's like you could have a new girlfriend Rob" observed Lexie when they had gone. "Though I'm not sure mum would approve" she grinned. "Let me just go and put some clothes on Lexie" I groaned.
