Actually, I was taking baths under my mother's supervision since I was 11. But at my aunt's house, she treated me like a baby. It was like she wanted to show me naked to my aunt and cousin. This horrified me.

It may not be a big deal for parents to see children undressing in public. Especially on beaches. Of course, boys being naked would attract the attention of girls and their mothers around them. But being forced to be naked would attract a much different kind of attention.

"Hard Time at the Beach" is about a twelve year old who goes to the beach with mom, aunt and uncle. Mom thinks her son is still young
enough that he has no need of a swimsuit. After all, many of the younger kids don't wear a suit.
