One name in particular had caught Dr. Wayne Pulaski’s attention on today’s appointment list. Fourteen year old Kristina August whose parents, Wilson and Alsina August were near neighbours of his. He had been the family doctor for the August family for the last four years.

Today’s appointed for Kristina was listed to treat an outbreak of acne but it was also a follow up appointment to treat an already diagnosed outbreak of dermatitis. Dr. Pulaski had examined Kristina about a month ago for an outbreak of acne and had noticed signs of an outbreak of dermatitis. On that occasion Kristina had worn a gown and only undressed to her underwear, as her mother, Alsina August had insisted, so as to maintain her daughter’s modesty.

At that last examination, Dr. Pulaski on the suggestion of Mrs. August had undertaken Kristina’s full physical for the start of the new school year that was required by the Tallahatchie school district. Two weeks ago her brothers Isaac aged twelve and Errol aged ten had also attended the clinic for their school physical examinations.

The difference in attitude that Alsina August had shown about her daughters modesty and the modesty of her two sons was very noticeable to Dr. Pulaski. Alsina’s attitude strongly reminded Wayne Pulaski of his own mother’s attitude when he was young. To his mother, his own modesty, even in this mid teenage years, had often been an afterthought. When Isaac and Errol had attended for their school physicals, Kristina had attended also and stood with her mother observing both boys examinations. This he would insist was appropriate, so that he could determine if the betamethasone dipropionate, a high potency topical corticosteroid, that he had prescribed was having the desired effect on the dermatitis.

After the initial greeting pleasantries, Alsina August pointed out the red inflamed outbreak of acne on the right side of her daughter Kristina’s neck and the fact the initial prescription of antibiotic medication that had been prescribed had run out.

Mrs. August and Kristina had both expected Dr. Pulaski to simply put on a pair of gloves and inspect the outbreak and then issue a new prescription. However that was not to be the case as Dr. Pulaski advised that he needed to conduct a thorough skin inspection, reminding Mrs. August and Kristina that her prescription of betamethasone dipropionate should be almost exhausted and he could not issue a repeat prescription of such a high potency topical corticosteroid without checking thoroughly for side effects and results.

It was then that Dr. Pulaski broke the news about his new gown rules for girls and asked Kristina to undress.

“What!” exclaimed Mrs. August, not believing what she was hearing. “She can’t be examined naked, it’s immoral!”

“Alsina, please calm down.” said Dr. Pulaski. “I most certainly intend to do just that! If a boy is naked, all their boy parts are exposed, whereas a girl has nothing to hide, as all her female parts are well hidden, so I have decided girls no longer need to wear a gown when being examined. Kristina has regularly seen her brothers naked, so why shouldn’t thay see her naked as well?”

Dr. Pulaski glanced over at Errol and Isaac and noticed the look of shock on their faces at the news about their sister being required to strip bare naked without a gown and also the beginning of smiles on their lips as this new possible change in their relationship with their sister began to dawn on both of them.

“Because Kristina’s a girl and her modesty and privacy needs to be protected.” exclaimed Mrs. August in reply to Dr. Pulaski’s question. “If she had to undress for some special or exceptional reason like a full skin examination, she should have to do it in private wearing underwear and a gown. This is outrageous doctor! Surely Kristina can’t be expected to get totally naked?”

“I most certainly do expect Kristina to get totally naked!” replied Dr. Pulaski. “Girls have nothing to hide and so don’t need to wear a gown. How can I check all of her skin to see the effects of the betamethasone dipropionate if Kristina is still wearing her underwear?”

“Well … I suppose you do have a valid point doctor, I know that you have to be very cautious when using strong steroids, but my two boys are going to have to leave with me while you examine Kristina!”

“I am not allowed to examine a minor without an adult witness and the nurses are occupied, so I will need you to stay in the examination room please. As far as I am concerned, the boys seeing Kristina naked should be no big deal and it will probably be very educational for both boys” informed Dr. Pulaski.

“But it is a big deal to me!” Kristina complained.

“Why is it a big deal to you, sis?” Isaac asked.

“Because as mom said , it’s indecent, girls are expected to maintain their modesty at all times.” replied Kristina.

“But mom? Why is it indecent for Kristina to be seen naked, but not me?” Isaac asked.

“Because I don’t have a problem with boys being naked Isaac.” explained Mrs. August. “I have been bought up to believe that girls need to maintain their modesty at all times, whereas for boys, they don’t need to be so modest. I mean, most girls, including Kristina, know what boys look like naked, but boys never see girls naked. I have always believed that allowing both you boys too much privacy and modesty, would have detrimental effects, like, disrespectful behaviour, increasing rebellion, lower school grades and juvenile delinquency!

“Well I always feel like you think Kristina is better than Errol and me, since we have to be naked and she doesn’t.” added Isaac.

“I didn’t realise you felt that way. I most certainly don’t think Kristina is better than you or Errol, it’s just that until now I have always believed that she should not be seen naked in front of you and Errol”

“So, as the doctor suggested, it’s ok for Errol and I to stay for Kristina’s skin examination?” asked Isaac.

“The old ways are very much a double standard and what I am recommending is modern thinking and certainly not immoral! “So why not? asked Dr. Pulaski. “As I said Alsina, times have changed and society is no longer expecting girls to maintain their modesty at all times.”

“Yeah, why is it ok for Isaac and me to be naked in front of Kristina, but not Kristina not in front of us?” asked Errol.

“Yeah, mom? Why?” asked Isaac.

“Well, it’s just … that until now I have thought that girls should be treated differently … I suppose that is a double standard.” replied Mrs. August.

“Mom, you can’t allow this ?” exclaimed Kristina with disgust. “I shouldn’t have to be seen naked like my brothers. I’m a girl and girls have to maintain their modesty!”

Mrs. August looked at her two sons, then looked at her daughter and then turned to Dr. Pulaski and after a short time contemplating the situation, said, “I will allow it!“

“What! No …. No … I can’t be seen naked!”

“You will from now on, be treated exactly the same as your brothers. No more double standards!” reaffirmed Mrs. August.

“Well sis, I guess you are now going to find out how Errol and I feel when we are naked in front of you!” tormented Isaac.

“But you and Errol don't need much modesty or privacy. What matters is maturity. Girls are much more mature than boys, even older boys, so that’s why girls should maintain their modesty and be in charge. I have always tried to treat you boys fairly, but left no doubt that as a girl, I was naturally in charge.”

“That Kristina, is now an old fashioned attitude that is, as I said, actually a double standard if you think about it. Society is now expecting boys to maintain their modesty at all times, because if a boy is naked, all their boy parts are exposed, whereas a girl like you has nothing to hide, as all your female parts are well hidden.” informed Dr. Pulaski. “If you think about your notion that boys don’t need excessive modesty and girls do, you will see that the old ideas you have held are old fashioned and no longer acceptable.”

“But” … Kristina started to object, but Mrs. August interjected, “To be honest Kristina, I have never given any thought to or bothered about the whole concept Dr. Pulaski has presented today about a girls body, but I can now see how my previous ideas could be considered a double standard. You need to start undressing, we have wasted enough of Dr. Pulaski’s time.”

“Mom you can’t be serious! I will be so embarrassed!” exclaimed Kristina.

“I am very serious! I am sure the boys have felt embarrassed being naked in front of you, so if you suffer some embarrassment, that is only fair. I won’t have any more double standards! So Kristina, please start undressing!”

Kristina didn’t move for a few seconds but then, reluctantly kicked off her flip flops and then started unbuttoning the blouse she was wearing, passing it to her mother when done, exposing her bra. Next, she undid her jeans and pushed them off before picking them up and passing them to her mother, exposing her panties.

Dr. Pulaski kept a straight face but smiled inwardly as he noticed that Kristina’s underwear didn’t match. She obviously had not been expecting to strip down to her underwear on this visit, especially without the cover of a gown. Her bra was black and her panties beige.

“Kristina, no covering up please, stand up straight and place your arms by your side. You have nothing to hide and be modest about. No one cares about breasts and your most private girl parts are well hidden between your legs.” ordered Dr. Pulaski.

Dr. Pulaski however thought to himself, that he bet Isaac and Errol would certainly be caring about Kristina’s naked breasts, despite what he had just said. Kristina had already suffered a massive demotion in life, but the reality was that Dr. Pulaski wanted to help embarrass and humiliate the girl as much as possible. “Now stand straight Kristina, I will now begin your skin inspection with a breast exam. Your breasts are developing well, so there is potential for a rash to develop immediately under them.”

Kristina gulped and Dr. Pulaski noticed her breathing intensified as he put on a pair of gloves whilst she contemplated him touching her. He noticed that both her brothers were now staring intently at her breasts.

Dr. Pulaski cupped the underside of Kristina’s right breast with one hand and lifted it up closely examined the skin underneath with his other hand. He was gentle but deliberate in feeling the skin. He noted that her pink nipples, were standing rock hard from the arousal of the situation. He then reached over and repeated the process under her other breast. When he was finished, he decided to push things even further. He explained to Mrs. August and Isaac that it was important to do this rash check daily and suggested that it be done at the same time as Kristina was naked for purging.

Dr. Pulaski then had Kristina move over to the examination bed and lay back. He noted that her face flushed anew as she lay back, her legs dangling off the edge at her knees. Dr. Pulaski then carefully inspected the exposed skin of Kristina’s lower body and legs, making notes about certain noticeable rash marks. He then ran his fingers through her thick scraggy bush of dark brown pubic hair with his gloved hands, spreading the hairs in an attempt to see if there was any dermatitis rash on the skin under her pubes.

As Dr. Pulaski stood between Kristina’s spread legs, he deliberately lowered his face down towards her vulva to get a better look. “Your daughter’s pubic hair will have to be shaved off and her vulva kept bald. It is way too thick to be left like this with dermatitis present.” Dr. Pulaski informed Alsina August.

Dr. Pulaski already had Kristina in a very lewd position, totally spread out, her vulva completely exposed, her labia lips parted. When finished, Dr. Pulaski then went over to the wet area and procured shaving cream, a disposable razor and filled a small bowl with warm water. He then started shaving the stubble off the whole of Kristina’s vulva. From time to time, he stopped, dipped the razor in the bowl of warm water, agitating it in order to clean the razor. He made sure Isaac was watching intently as he repeated the process several times over, to ensure that Kristina was totally smooth and bald like a much younger girl. “Isaac, I hope you watched carefully how I shaved your sister, as it will now be your duty to keep your sister totally bald until all signs of her dermatitis has been eradicated.” Dr. Pulaski informed a smiling Isaac August.

“Alsina, with Kristina in this position in the stirrups, would you like me to give your two boys a medical explanation of a girls genital region whilst the opportunity presents? I suspect they have never had an opportunity like this to learn about the female body?” asked Dr. Pulaski.

He then went on to recommended using Benzoyl Peroxide which would act as an antiseptic, to reduce the number of bacteria on the surface of Kristina’s skin along with an application of facial cleanser with a 2% salicylic acid solution.
