Quoted below are a couple text snippets, from the first chapter, which seem to resonate with the very themes mentioned above; note that the "Amber" character is the boy's new stepmother, rather stern and unbending in her harsh disciplinary approach:

The Charlie described here is very much the same as the Charlie character in what I've written (based on Themarble's description of the
character). Same name...same age (8th grade) and same big size.

I have just started reading. Nice coincidence that I also decided to pick the name Charlie in one of my own stories about a young boy with a large appendage. I will read this story with a lot of vigor!!

Whatever the writer decides, he or she will have readers that enjoy their choice and readers that don't.

The varied comments on this pretty much corroborate what I wrote in the original post. As far as penis size goes, I think that you as a writer should go whichever way you prefer. If you do, the good news is that you will find readers out there who enjoy your story, whether you go small, normal or large. More importantly, since you are the one putting in the work, you will enjoy it yourself.

Other writers want to identify with the person being victimized. They fantasize about being stripped by a group of girls. Maybe something
similar happened to them when they were young, and want to duplicate this in their writing. If one wants to be the male victim in their dreams
and fantasies, then it makes sense that writer will make the main character have normal to above average size.

Even better is the scenario you mentioned, one of my favourites: delayed puberty / late bloomer. Absolutely mortifying for a 14 / 15 year old to be found still prepubescent when their peers (and even younger boys!!) are all developing normally. The humiliation these late bloomers suffer as a result of forced nudity is magnified almost to infinity!

It really has to do with the situation. I'm not interested in recipients who have wildly large or small genitals but certainly whatever size drives the story best (the undersized bully or endowed geek may be tropes, but if it floats your boat...)

As someone who was humiliated in a locker room as a tween, modest sizing and delayed development are a frequent theme, particularly in comparison to someone else that's right on track or maybe slightly ahead.
