Summer Story Contest!

Hey everyone,

Things on the board have seemed a little slow lately, so I thought I'd try out another summer contest like the one I hosted last year to encourage everyone to write a little more in the coming weeks. Same as my usual contests - after the deadline, I'll post a survey so we can collectively vote which story is the best, instead of risking my own biases by being the only judge. As for the stories, I'll keep this contest rather open ended. As long as it can be linked with summer somehow, get as creative as you want with the rest!

Rules:
-Only one story per writer
-Make sure to note the contest in the title - how about SSC, for short?
-All stories are welcome. I'll include ENM and True Stories in the voting as well.

Deadline:
Saturday, August 1st.

Just a reminder that everyone has about three weeks left to write and submit a story for the Summer Story contest! I know there was some overlap with Humilatron's Pride Story contest (really cool idea), but that deadline just passed.

Is any age ok for the contest or do you got an age your prefer

Same rules for the rest of the board - technically, any age is 'fine.' Just tread carefully as the age gets younger.
