My annoying cousin

Growing up I was pretty self-aware and shy of my own body from early age on. Not that I had any reason to but the way my parents raised me had me thinking about always keeping certain things private.
At the same time my cousin, who is about 2 years younger than me, was sort of obsessed with being around me and always called me "her favourite cousin". As we got older she was showing increasingly interest in seeing certain things.

As a result of this, every time I spent a few days at my grandparents place during the holidays and she was visiting for the same period, I always had to search for a way to protect my privacy. Since we had to share a room this wasn't always easy but I managed to get through somehow.



One morning however I woke up and heard my grandparents chatting downstairs with my cousin. I got up, dressed myself and went down to have breakfast.
Downstairs I found them in the entrance area, ready to get groceries. After quickly greeting them good morning I went on to the kitchen and while having breakfast I could hear them leave to the store. The house fell silent.

Once I finished my food I returned to the first floor to take a shower. On the way up I glanced to the entrance area again. All 3 shoe pairs were missing so I considered myself alone.
In the bathroom I closed the door behind me, but didn't lock it because... I was home alone, right?
I turned on the shower, got undressed and entered the shower cubicle. Then I soaped myself up, closed my eyes to prevent soap coming into my eyes.
It was just then as the door flew open and my cousin came barging in. Disorientated by having my eyes closed I took a moment to realize what was going on.
Immediately upon realization I turned myself away and tried to cover but by then it was too late.
Outside of the glass wall my cousin was jumping up and down, gleefully exclaiming "I saw your thingy down there... I saw it, ha!" Annoyed by her presence and her violation of my privacy I told her to get out, which she thankfully did. Not without taking another glance at my butt but atleast she left. I quickly finished showering, cursing both my cousin and myself for not locking the door.
As I got out of the bathroom she was still beaming and began taunting me on how she hid her shoes and herself in the pantry, hoping that I was going to do anything like that so that she could use the moment to have a look. And how happy she was when she actually heard me turn on the shower. And...

I didn't know what to say to that so I only told her to shut up about it and tried to ignore her mocking.

I'm hoping your cousin stayed determined to see you naked, that more situations happened over several years.
How old are the two of you when this happened? The girl seems to me to be around ten years old.

Yes she tried a few more times over the following years but I did my best to not let her see anything. Looking back maybe a bit foolish as it could have been some fun memories now but back then I was just to embarassed to show myself.

Good guess, I was thirteen at that time and she was eleven

That had to have been a frustrating power dynamic. I mean, can you imagine the repercussions if you had acted the way she did if it had been you who saw her naked body? To be honest, had I been in charge and learned of this, I would have leveled the playing field and given her a bare bottom spanking in front of you. That would have wiped that smile right off her face.

I never experienced such a dynamic as I was always the oldest cousin by far and often left in charge of them when I was a teenager and they were still little kids. My 3 cousins were a boy and a girl who were brother and sister and a girl who was an only child, all within 3 years of each other. They were instructed to obey me which they did without question. This led to a few moments where, since they shared a bedroom, I deliberately ensured they would change clothes in front of each other. This was especially steamy with the boy and the girl who wasn’t his sister as they were only a year apart in age and much less used to seeing each other in states of undress than the brother and sister.

They would often get ready for bed or get their swimsuits on at the same time and nobody ever thought to go into the bathroom or change privately until the boy was 12 almost 13 years old even though the kids showed obvious signs of modesty but never said anything about it.

Nope she got away with it. I didn't want to make a fuss about it as it wouldn't have changed anything about the situation itself either. Probably it would have only escalated the situation even further.

I'm guessing there must have been a lot to embarassment but also a lot of curiosity on their parts, getting to see the parts of the opposite gender on someone who wasn't a direct sibling

I can relate. I had a very similar awkward bathroom encounter, only in my case it was my best friend's annoying little sister who burst in on me, and our respective ages were a year or two younger than you and your cousin when it happened.

I never had a sensible conversation with her about it afterwards, so I'm interested in hearing more about your talk with your cousin that evening. What did you say to each other when you were in bed? What was it like continuing to share a room after she had seen you, did anything change?

It was not really a conversation itself, more like a one-sided ask-and-answer because I was curious on why she did it, how she managed to pull it off,... stuff like that.

I mean the remaining nights the same year were a bit awkward but eventually it eased out again so... long term nothing changed. I was still cautious of my privacy but there were no burned bridges or whatsoever between us.
