Vignettes of Californium, Part I -- The Revolution Begins

I'll give the introduction that I used to announce this on another forum:

A few months ago, there was a thread about the old Misterpoll "Unequal Nudity" forum, where the inequality was always in direction of male nudity. When I mentioned that I had created an archived copy of it, several people asked to receive a copy of it. Now, for the first time, I have been writing a story -- actually, a series of stories -- with a very "unequal nudity" theme. They are especially inspired by a posting in the Unequal Nudity forum by "Amy2010":

"I wish male nudity was common place in public but I also wish women would cover themselves much more than they do."

This isn't what I normally see in CFNM stories, which have a habit of depicting females in miniskirts and/or bikinis. The forum disappeared before I got the chance to say that I have viewed a number of videos from Japan of events that come close to granting her wish -- male participants are close to naked (often in thong loincloths), while female participants cover up.

Now what if this sort of situation happened not just in special events but all of the time -- and just as Amy wished it (male nudity being commonplace in public while females fully cover themselves)? My storyline is a time and place where that becomes the case.


Vignettes of Californium, Part I: The Revolution Begins

It started with an idea, and evolved into a revolution. Like other successful revolutions, it produced profound changes. And like other revolutions, it produced winners – although, in the opinion of this author, no losers.

The Langfords first encountered it through their best friends, the Townsends. The families were best friends largely owing to Mrs. Langford (Laura) having been best friends with Mrs. Townsend (Annie) since their childhood days. Both had followed similar paths in a number of ways: both married and with a child before the age of 25, both with three children, both curvaceous and still youthful-looking although their eldests were well into their teens and they themselves were nearing the age of forty. The families were in a sense mirror images: where one had a son, the other had a daughter of nearly the same age. The rest of Annie Townsend’s family was husband Robert, daughter Alana (16), son Clayton (13), and daughter Sofia (9). Laura Langford’s husband’s name was Jeff; her children were Adam (17), Vanessa (14), and Danny (also 9).

The two families spent a great deal of time together, so much that all of the children considered each other’s children to be near-siblings. It helped that their two homes were an easy walk from each other. Especially on weekends and holidays, it was common for the two families to all come together. Since the Langfords’ home had one more bedroom, they usually served as hosts.

One spring, however, Annie arranged during the week of the kids’ spring vacation to take a “girls-only trip”, with both mothers and all three girls. Annie refused to tell any of the others in advance where they were going, or why, saying “You will find out when you get there. Something new and fantastic I have been talking with others about online and by phone, and I have also read some news stories about it. An introduction to a new lifestyle – one that I’m sure you’ll love.”

On the concluding Saturday of the vacation period, the five females returned to the Townsend home and spent the rest of the day and night there.

The following morning, Laura called home.

“Jeff? We’re at Annie’s house right now. Are the kids all there? We’re all going to come over there soon – Robert and Clayton too -- and show you and the boys what this trip was all about. So don’t go anywhere. See you soon.”

About an hour later, Jeff discerned his family and Annie’s coming to their front door. As the door open and they filed in, rather to his surprise he saw that Robert and Clayton were rather minimally dressed, in just a pair of mid-thigh-high shorts and no shirt. The females were all in sleeved shirt and trousers or jeans.

After the hellos were completed, Jeff spoke up. “OK. So – what did you want to tell us?”

Annie came forward. “I will tell you, Jeff. There is a big change happening. I have read about it in the news. Not long ago I met a lady named Amy who was really pushing this, and we got to meet there and talk about it together for a long time. And we got to talk with and hear from a number of other women who have already begun to live that way. My family has already taken the first step to living that change, and now that your wife and daughter have seen it, they want to join in, and have you join in – isn’t that right?” Both of them nodded.

What we talked about – and I totally agree with – is that women never really like men who they aren’t in love with to be gazing at their bodies. Really, it is in their self-interests – our self-interest – to be thinking modestly all the time. We don’t have to hide our figures entirely like a lot of Muslim women do, but we are best off keeping exposed skin to a minimum.

Men do a poor job of controlling their libidos. So it’s up to us women to help keep them under control.

“Now for men,” she continued, “it’s a different story. Women’s gazes are no danger to them. Unlike with men, our sexual parts are our servants, not our masters. And men can like women staring at their bodies, provided that it is appreciative and not hostile. It’s a win for us, and for them. So during the retreat, we were introduced to another concept. The Townsend males have already been introduced to it too.”

“Robert, Clayton…show them what you started wearing at home yesterday.”

The two males stepped forward, undid the shorts, and let them drop to the ground. Underneath, they were wearing briefs. Then to Jeff’s astonishment, their hands went to the top of their briefs and pulled them down as well, leaving them start naked. They then turned to face the women.

“It’s called CFNM”, continued Annie. That’s Clothed Female, Naked Male. Turning to Robert and Clayton, she inquired, “How do you feel when we females look you over appreciatively?”

“It’s been a strange feeling,” replied Robert, “But I do like it.”

“Even from the girls?”

“Yes”, said Robert, “Even from the girls”.

“And you, Clayton?”

He nodded. “I feel the same way.”

“There, you see?”, continued Annie. “I think that this will become the new normal. Clayton is starting to leave the bathroom open when he showers, for example, even though his sisters don’t. He and his father been going around naked all the time at home this weekend. Now, Laura, Vanessa, you want your guys to do that too, right?”

A chorus of “Yes”-s came from them both.

“During the vacation, your wife and daughter saw the light. And some men who were going naked. As I said, a big change happening.”

“All right”, came from Adam, speaking for the first time, “If Clayton and his dad are in, well, so am I.” And stepping forward, he began to remove his clothing. He did not finish until all of it was on the floor.

“Are you going to keep your back turned?" asked Clayton.

"No, no!" Adam turned around. "Sorry."

Just as Adam did so, a murmur escaped from Sofia, and she put out her hand and pointed. Turning around, Jeff saw that his other son was removing his clothing also. In a few moments he too was naked.

“OK, Jeff,” said Annie, “It’s just you now. Are you in?”

Jeff stood in place for a while without answering. Finally, he put his hands up -– and began to pull his shirt off.



That night, the two sets of parents were surprised to discover that the events of the day had generated an increased desire for sex, especially when Bob and Jeff both climbed into bed naked, each for the first time, while their wives remained clothed. And since they experienced male-only nudity every day after that, they soon discovered that for the first time in many years they wanted to have sex every night. The effect on the two older boys, Adam and Clayton, was similar; as soon as they went to bed they would begin jerking off to thoughts of being naked in the presence of fully clothed females.



Several days later, Annie received this email from Laura:

Jeff and the boys are really only now starting to go around the house naked on a regular basis. It’s clear that there will need to be an adjustment period before this family genuinely becomes CFNM. The boys do keep the bathroom door open now when they shower.

A week later, this one:

A week has definitely made a difference! The guys look a lot more comfortable being naked around us.

Vanessa is in seventh heaven. She is free to walk in on the boys just about anytime. But they know never to walk in on her when she has her door closed.

And the following month, this one:

Hey Annie, I remember you saying during our vacation that CFNM is spreading and that you had seen a story about it on the news. Well, now I have seen a news story about it too! And now you can credit my family for some of that spread as well. Did I tell you about my brother’s family? They came to visit us for the long weekend – and before it was over, for the first time all of us girls got to see him and the other males in the family naked! Yes, I think it safe to say – another family “converted” to CFNM!

And also:

An unexpected bonus is that our sex life has been kicked up at least a notch, and not just because I get to fondle his naked body in bed now (while I still wear nightgowns as before). Our sex has become more frequent and more passionate. I think Jeff is actually turned on by CFNM, that he finds it sexier that only the males in the family are going naked while, if anything, us girls are covering up more.

As we all discussed, I’ve gotten rid of my more revealing clothing. Including the bikinis. Jeff is in for a surprise there the next time we go to the beach! But for what we have planned, I’m sure that it’s not the biggest surprise by a long shot.

To which Annie replied:

Yes, Robert sleeps naked all of the time too now! So does Clayton, for that matter.

I’m hoping to do that beach trip soon, but I want to be sure that the guys will be ready for it.

I hope there are other chapters to this story. But what I'd like to see more of is some embarrassment. Without at least one of the
males being hesitant, wanting to resist the new movement due to being insecure and shy, then something is lacking. Some more tension
is needed. ENM/ENF doesn't work without the E "embarrassment". That's my opinion anyway.

But you are the boss of your own story. Take on the suggestions that you like (there will likely be others who regularly make comments
and suggest things) and ignore any ideas you don't like.

Nicely said, and I agree wholeheartedly. Maybe I'm just tired, but I couldn't put my finger on what was 'wrong' on the first read through, that left the chapter feeling a little 'hollow'.

Easily rectified, of course, should Mr. Nash (couldn't resist) want to continue, and go down that vein... the concept spreads round the neighbourhood, everyone's happy until the family at the end of the street find out... mum/sister in favour, dad/son(s) go 'are you f'king crazy?'

NB As always, not trying to tell you (Ogden) how to write your story - just thinking out loud and offering a suggestion how you might proceed. Indeed, I'll echo what TeenFan said: ignore any ideas you don't like.

I put the inspiration and general intent for the whole story (it will have at least a dozen parts) at the top of part I. The over-riding theme is development of an "extreme" double standard in clothing (and lack of it) between males and females. As such, there may be facets of the whole storyline that are not typical of this genre, as well as more usual ones that I will deliberately omit because I don't care for them or I don't think they fit the tone of the story very well or both. For example, I have never been into humiliation.

If it's embarrassment you want, I'm sure you can find plenty of it elsewhere on this board. I know that's probably not the sort of comment on that subject that you wanted to get.

Not at all, people can put forward thoughts/comments/suggestions/whatever but it's your story, to do with as you please - whatever the content, if it's well written you'll find an audience I'm sure.

I love how CFNM is spreading in your stories and that may my reasoning that the Swim Team has gone nude, well the MALES have because the girls never will and in fact the girls on the team have become more modest (maybe they read your stories) Now the State is requiring males to be naked in swimming events and want it spread to 2 or 3 other sports and a National News outlet has interviewed the team and showed the content in full detail to a national audience on prime time TV and other networks are showing it too. Maybe other states will join Califorium in having males go naked. In fact, one of the coaches at Central High feels free enough to walk through the hallways naked since it is being accepted more. I think I will make a reference to Califorium in my story if you do not mind.

I have been cautioned not to have males too often so it does not become so normal girls will not look at male genitals anymore as it is too normal How do you deal with that aspect ogden_edsl?
