If you click on the spammer’s profile, you can ‘add foe’ and it hides everything they post. Just for you though.

My suggestions are
Signature ban until approved (set number off valid posts)
First 5 posts need to be approved (painful but got to be less work than deleting threads)
ISP log for the spammers (got to be possible)

10. Restricting users to a small subset of the forum until they have X number of posts or Y number of days or something similar may help -- the bots will activate and spam those regions instead of the rest of the site.
I like this idea/suggestion, I can't believe that I didn't think to ...

Maybe turn off new membership for now, until can figure out how to block these spammers
If its a human, which I think it is, we need to approve posts before they appear for people under a set number of posts and restrict signatures for another number of posts and as I've seen on another forum ...
