Plagiarism is not a crime just unethical. Copyright Infringement is something Lawyers can have fun with in Courts. Corporations don't like to be dragged into court as possible accomplices, so they might drop that vendor.

Oh, shit. Superevil7 says that you're not allowed to call things by crime terms like "rape" or "plagiarism" unless the person has been officially convicted of it in a court of law. Weird hang-up and kinda counter-intuitive to Libertarianism (his political party, FYI), but it just feels decent ...

Plagiarism is a tort good for civil action like demanding money damages. It is not a crime.

As for all this stuff bout accusations, the difference is whether you actually catch them in the act as you accuse them. If you didn't see a crime going on, even a heinous one, you can't be sure enough to throw accusation around ...

Nice chapter! For now, Abbie is no longer permanuded, except for at school where naked is now her uniform. At least she can go out with clothes on though (ie. no more naked jaunts through the mall).
